Watch Our Mini-Documentary on Horror & True Crime

If you couldn’t make it to Glasgow Horror Festival: BITE SIZE at the start of the month – now it’s your chance to check out Popcorn Horror’s short documentary which we screened at the event alongside Cruel Summer.

Cruel Summer is a 2016 horror film by Philip Escott. It is also the true story of Terry Hurst, an autistic teenager who was murdered in 2004, on a camping trip by three former friends.

The short film explores the relationship between true crime and horror cinema – hosted by voice artist RJ Bayley and featuring the voice of director Philip Escott, and music from Fit To Work.
