As if the program of breaking horror short and feature films wasn’t enough, the mini fest will also be hosting local independent horror artists and traders. Make sure you check out their stalls and chat with them about their work during the event. Until then, here’s a little preview of what goodies you can expect to find at BITE SIZE.
Lillias Chisholm crafts dark and gothic themed headpieces, jewellery and costume items. These intricate works of art are perfect for an elegant costume party (Think; the ball scene in Dr. Phibes!), drag performances and to display alongside your horror collection.
Fans of folk horror, be sure to stop by Generation Witch, a pagan wares and bones shop with an assortment of occult pieces.
And for fans of Lovecraftian horror, Caitylou Creations knits these adorable baby Cthulhus – as well as a wide range of alternative and spooky accessories.
Straight from the laboratory is Frankenstein inspired creator The Plague Doctor – who designs gothic and steampunk lamps, wall lights, and other items perfect for bringing some horror into your home.
Say it with a skull! Helen stocks a range of alternative greetings cards for those friends who don’t quite suit the traditional flowers and teddies designs found in stores. Gothic styles, witches, eerie castles, and black cats are among the gorgeous designs to be found at her stall.
The Hidden Hermit is back after a fantastic reception at our prior events. He’ll be offering tarot readings with unique horror-inspired decks.
Zodiac Wolf will be bringing some eerie nature to the fest with prints featuring wolves and other striking animals.
And of course, stop by and say hello at the Popcorn Horror stall – where you’ll find merch and snacks to munch on while enjoying the films.
