My Neighbour Totoro is a classic of animation, frequently topping lists of the greatest children’s and family movies. But with a few lighting changes, some clever editing and ominous music the film takes on a much less family-friendly vibe.

YouTube channel Nobu Film created this awesome video which reimagines the Studio Ghibli animation as a spooky horror trailer –  and it’s surprisingly effective! Check it out below.
