‘The Shining’ is undisputedly one of the greats of the horror classics. The film managed to cement in viewers a fear of twins, small children, animal costumes and typewriters and commonly makes the top ten in ‘Greatest Horror’ countdowns. One of the most celebrated elements of the film is it’s unique visual style – and that’s inspired hundreds of designers to experiment with the film’s themes.
