Sneak Previews: Universal Monster Re-Design Competition
There’s still a couple of weeks to get your entries in for our Universal Monsters re-design competition. We’ve already had a lot of great entries, and we’re going to share with you some of our personal highlights thus far. We’ve picked out one per monster, and we hope these awesome pieces will encourage you to get involved and send in your own. If you ever wanted to see Dracula as a fairy, the Mummy as a giant, or a post apocalyptic Bride, now’s your chance! Let’s dive into some of the best, most creative, most horrifying monster entries we’ve received.
A more tragic take on the Bride of Frankenstein, by Nick Rose
Dracula as an out of control teenager, by Deanna Smith
Blending the classic Lon Chaney Phantom with more modern interpretations of the story, by Peter Simeti
Sculpture showing a more horrific look at the classic Monster, by Mathias Tingström
A more threatening adaption of the classic Karloff Mummy, by Lukas
These are just a small selection of the amazing entries we’ve received so far. Massive thank you to everyone who’s got involved. If you haven’t submitted your art yet, there’s still plenty of time. Click the link below to get involved.
