Spanish photographer Migue Tomé has created a Lovecraftian nightmare in the kitchen! Using fruits and vegetables, the artist cleverly designed a range of bizarre and gruesome creatures.
“I’d never believed that you could make fantasy realistic. Fantasy is a product of our imagination.” he explained We tried to introduce some logic in our fantasy but we didn’t want it to have a realistic appearance Ray Harryhausen The Amazing Creatures is born out of the meeting of two completely different subjects: the still life photography and horror and science fiction movie genres. The creatures resulting of this meeting live in a contradictory land of death and colour. Death appears as the basis of the above-mentioned genre: creatures born from the joint of grafts, compositions authored by a doctor Frankenstein.”
