Morgan Loebel is an artist who creates creatures, monsters and mutated things out of polymer clay. Although his work is very body horror influenced, he includes realistic features in the eyes, teeth and the wrinkles in the flesh. Morgan left high school to begin a career in dentistry which would last over twenty years. He worked as a dental laboratory technician, constructing realistic, detailed crowns, bridges and other dental prosthesis. He estimates that over the span of his career he must have created hundreds of thousands of teeth.
In his spare time, Morgan had spent many years making dark artwork. He discovered polymer clay in 2012, and decided to put his skills in the dental field to good use. He set up Morgans Mutations, an art project creating phone cases, book cases and more; all with anatomical monstrous themes. Check out some of the mutant art below, and his online store here.
