Jason Bakutis, best known as a horror special effects artist (Jason Goes to Hell, Critters 3 ) is the founder of MicroFear a company which specialises in horror themed dioramas. Each tiny art piece depicts a scene from a horror movie or novel and combines the recent innovation of 3D printing with the classic technique of bronze casting. The artist explains the project: “MicroFear is my homage to those stories and to the world of miniatures. I wanted to create high-end, multi-material pieces that that would amaze people and immediately capture their imaginations.”
