These Cool Matchbooks Feature Horror Movie Characters and Trivia

Serafim Mendes is a designer from Portugal who created this series of matchbooks featuring horror movie icons. The project was part of his MA in Communication Design at ESAD Matosinhos, and were sold through independent markets. Each box has two different illustrations (outside/inside), and the ‘Nightmare Matches” were available in three different colours: green, yellow and orange.

Inside the boxes you can also find information about the movie, as well as a piece of trivia. On the back of every box there is a quote from the movie.
