Artist Louise Cassidy has given the ancient art of paper folding a spooky Halloween makeover. The origami maker has previously recreated many characters from pop culture in her paper designs, and now she has created a series of spooky characters in time for Halloween.
She uses various paper techniques such as origami, paper cutting and crumpling to make her creations, which include It’s Pennywise the Clown, Hocus Pocus, and creepy post apocalyptic creatures. According to Cassidy, the most difficult part is making the character recognisable in their 1-inch structure. These models can take from 30 minutes to a couple of hours to complete.
