The Interactive Adventures of Dog Mendonça & PizzaBoy by Argentine developer OKAM Studio and German publisher Deep Silver FISHLABS is now available for Android-powered smartphones and tablets. The game, which was funded via an international Kickstarter campaign, can be downloaded from Google Play for the fixed price of USD 4.99/GBP 3.99 /EUR 4.99. In April of this year, it launched on Windows PC and iOS.
The Interactive Adventures of Dog Mendonça & PizzaBoy directly ties with the fan-favorite graphic novel trilogy, whose third part was released in the US by Dark Horse Comics in November 2015. To offer its players an authentic experience, The Interactive Adventures of Dog Mendonça & PizzaBoy was realized in close cooperation with the author and the artists of the comics, namely Filipe Melo, Juan Cava and Santiago Villa.
The hilarious narrative of The Interactive Adventures of Dog Mendonça & PizzaBoy takes place in the beautiful but haunted city of Lisbon, the monster capital of the world. Here, the players take over the role of Eurico, a former pizza delivery guy, who works as the unpaid apprentice of occult investigator Dog Mendonça. Together with a moody gargoyle’s head and a tough-as-nails demon, Eurico has to solve a criminal case beyond belief. Besides superb comic-styled graphics and fun-to-solve riddles, The Interactive Adventures of Dog Mendonça & PizzaBoy also features made-for-mobile controls and full voice acting as well as a ton of references to pop and nerd culture.
