BBC Hammer Documentary Gets Worldwide Release


Available worldwide for the first time – and ONLY via PayPal, Flesh and Blood is often considered one of the best documentaries about England’s classic horror Hammer movies.

This is the inside story of Hammer Films, which transfused new blood into cinema horror. Narrated by screen legends Peter Cushing and Sir Christopher Lee with love, insight, and wry wit. This new remastered version is expanded to 138 minutes, with striking visuals, stereo sound, new interviews, photos, candid footage and beautiful women!


Interviews also include directors Val Guest, Don Sharp, Freddie Francis, Roy Ward Baker, producers Michael Carreras, Anthony Hinds, Aida Young and Terry Iliot. Composer James Bernard, editor Ian McGregor-Scott, writers Jimmy Sangster and Richard Matheson,and effects genius Ray Harryhausen also appear in the documentary. 

The film was originally broadcast as two shows on the BBC, and was in fact the last project that Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee worked on together before Cushing passed away.
