Awesome horror art by Andy Camp

I completely detest talking about myself, so I was going to just skip a Bio and list a bunch of Bill Murray quotes. But never mind, here we go… I was born at a very young age (oh geez… REALLY?!).

As a little Andy I was inspired to pick up a pencil the instant I saw Stephen Gammell’s Illustrations for the “Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark” books. I was always obsessed with horror movies, so most times I was drawing horror icons or zombies.

Now that I am an older Andy, I have a HUGE appreciation and respect for classic movie posters. The days when posters were hand-made pieces of art.

I decided to take my love of art, horror and classic movie posters… blend them all together and create Braincase Art & Design.

I feel like I owe at least one Bill Murray quote now:

“Chicks dig me, because I rarely wear underwear and when I do it’s usually something unusual.”
– Stripes

Thank you for listening.

Love this guys work, especially the Exorcist poster but that nun picture can fuck right off, creeped me out big time
I agree with him about the older posters. Todays posters are mostly dull, unimanginative and not worth a second glance.
Would love to see his versions of classic movies.

Amazing. Bravo. I wish I had the talent to create with pen and brush.
