Robert Englund IS Freddy Krueger! Having portrayed the Springwood Splasher in every entry in the Nightmare on Elm Street series (the remake doesn’t count), there’s few other actors so synonymous with their character. I actually had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Englund at a convention last year – and he was an extremely funny, welcoming gentleman.
