Minimalist Photography Illustrates Infamous Urban Legends
There are some urban legends so enduring that they are shared and remembered all over the world. Giovanna Baldini is an Italian photographer who set out to re-create some of the most infamous tales. As you’ll see in the images, the stories she was struck by in Italy are indeed the same legends terrifying children in the US, and ones we remember telling at sleep-overs here in the UK.
Giovanna’s work aims to use minimal and symbolic photography to create a recognisable image to represent films, novels and songs. In this series, she applies her style to various urban legends – and the results are pretty awesome.
