Bad Cookie Pictures Reveal VR Horror ‘Tune in for Murder’
Get placed smack-dab in the centre of your own murder in the latest film from emerging Vancouver film production company, Bad Cookie Pictures. The horror filmmakers have partnered with local virtual reality experts Hammer & Tong to bring audiences two VR horror experiences; the first being Tune in for Murder.
Hammer & Tong are influential voices in the new frontier of VR cinema. Their work has appeared at Paris 360, XSightings, and Seattle International and they have been presenters at Vancouver Webfest.
Taking place in 1940’s television, Tune in for Murder is a 360 film that places you front and centre in a closed-room murder from the perspective of the deceased. Watch the story unfold in front of you as the 5 suspects consider the facts to solve the mystery with many twists, turns, and all the horror you’d expect from Bad Cookie Pictures in a new format to enjoy.
Established in 2016, Bad Cookie Pictures is an emerging film production company based in Vancouver, BC, specializing in Horror and Genre filmmaking. They believe in empowering female filmmakers, artist collaboration and of course, a good old fashioned fright.
