Anatomical designs are striking and generally awesome, particularly these cool glass skele-animal works. The spooky little hare is made by Flying Cheese Toastie, the online alter ego for Rachel Elliott Glassworks which encompasses a glass menagerie of water-jet cut animals as well as jewellery ranges.
Rachel has just launched a Kickstarter campaign to produce her first glow in the dark enamel pin badge, based on her popular original x-ray hare glass sculpture.
The artist explains: “X-ray Hare was intended as a bit of a joke for Halloween but is regularly re-homed by people both from my on-line shop and in person at art fairs. So to celebrate its fifth birthday, I am hoping to reproduce it as a little 25mm/1inch tall soft enamel pin version…..that glows in the dark!”
Within twelve hours the campaign was fully funded, but you can still get involved and get your hands on these beautiful pins on Kickstarter.
Rachel is kindly donating a skele-hare pin to the raffle at the Glasgow Horror Festival. You can see more of her work on Etsy.
