Attention Scottish horror fans, creators, Halloween enthusiasts and drinkers! Popcorn Horror is very proud to present our FREE Halloween Horror Night in conjunction with Glasgow University’s QMU. The iconic Glasgow venue will be home to the scariest night in the city this Halloween season – on Friday 30th October 6 – 10 PM.
We figured – who better to host a massive Halloween party than horror nerds? An alternative to the city’s traditional events, the evening will bring together the best parts of Halloween under one roof.
Hosted by the fantastic Lacy Rain; the night will include:
Indie Horror Screenings
Live Music (Acts TBC)
Free entry to QMU club night
Rain will kick off the night by introducing a programme of independent horror shorts, including the talents of celebrated Scottish horror director Andy Stewart, and the award winning film ‘The Last Time I Saw Richard’. There will be the opportunity to win great prizes in a Halloween themed pub quiz, and a gallery of horror merch and props which will be raffled towards the end of the evening before the live music kicks off.
Popcorn Horror has teamed up with the QMU staff to offer free entry to the venue’s club night, as well as free entry to the event itself. It’s a fantastic opportunity to meet others within Glasgow’s passionate horror community, as well as a scare-filled night for anyone looking to make the most of the Halloween weekend.
