Review: Selfie (2018)
A woman spends her evening alone in her flat in hopes to unwind after a long day accept things begin to take a menacing turn. Dark figures flicker in the corner of the room, contorted, black hands caress the walls, clawed fingers climb their way up the spine of the unsuspecting, always near, always watching, always waiting.
An impressive take on horror, ‘SELFIE’ definitely captured the horror element in this short and should be rewarded with its ability to scare. Brought to us by REAL FICTION STUDIOS, director Jason Brooks’ short horror adoption both delighted me and unnerved me. A well worth contender for Popcorn Horror’s Bitesize festival set to hit Glasgow this April!
