Popcorn Horror Joins Forces With Tamfest For Halloween 2019

This Saturday marks halfway to Halloween, and our plans for the scary season are well underway. We can now officially reveal that Popcorn Horror will be working with the fantastically spooky Tamfest!

Tamfest is a unique celebration of Halloween and Heritage as the spirits of the past come alive for a weekend of fun and frights; drawing on Robert Burns’ infamous 18th century epic ‘Tam o’ Shanter’. The festival is set to bring a Scottish twist to traditional Halloween activities, decor, and entertainment and we’re thrilled to be working alongside them.

The Popcorn Horror team are currently developing a range of unique horror-focused workshops and activities, which will be held in the town centre of Ayr. Yes – we’re spreading the horror to more Scottish cities!

We will still be hosting a film event in Glasgow – more info on this coming soon – but we’ll now have the opportunity to offer a wider range of horror experiences, including those suitable for the whole family. Stay tuned for more details in the next few weeks on the various activities we’ll be bringing to Tamfest.

Alongside these experiences, we’re also working behind the scenes to bring the spirit of our horror markets to Tamfest. If you enjoyed our Krampus themed Christmas market – you’re going to love our folk-horror, Scottish influenced market this Halloween. With live Scottish horror characters brought to life, a range of horror themed stalls, artists and attractions – it’s set to be a sensationally spooky Halloween hub! We are currently accepting applications for stall holders, and you can email us for more information.

More details to follow in the coming months, but for now enjoy these awesome looking pictures from previous years Tamfest events. You can also find out more about Tamfest at their website.
