Indie Monster Movie Producers Launch Horror App
It’s really pretty cool when you think about it. While independent film studios rise and fall, Full Moon has managed to successfully navigate three decades making monster movies and other insane entertainment. Full Moon have evolved from the kings of direct-to-video horror and cult film entertainment in the 1990s to today being one of the major players specializing in genre cinema on streaming platforms like Hulu and Amazon.
But until now, you’ve not seen Full Moon’s presence on your iPhone, Android phones and tablets. That changed yesterday when the Full Moon App launched for iPhone and Android. You can drop into the iTunes store or follow this link and download the official Full Moon App to your device.
Outside of having quick and direct access to all the Full Moon portals including online store, the new Full Moon App boasts something fan-interactive in the form of a weekly contest, exclusive to everyone who signs up for the App. Every Tuesday, between 12pm EST and 12pm EST the next day, the Full Moon App will offer fans a window to look a classic and textless piece of Full Moon marketing art. All you have to do is be one of the first five savvy Full Moon obsessives to guess the name of the movie the art is from and BANG, you’ll win a $10 gift code for the Full Moon store.
Another cool feature on the App is the library of classic and original Full Moon soundtracks available to stream for free. Blue Oyster Cult’s score for BAD CHANNELS, Pino Donaggio’s chilling music from TOURIST TRAP and MERIDIAN plus Richard Band’s lush orchestrations from LASERBLAST, PUPPET MASTER and more.
