Indie Documentary To Tell The Story of Pennywise
From the makers of ‘You’re so cool, Brewster! The Story of Fright Night‘ and ‘RoboDoc: The Creation of RoboCop‘ and the director of ‘Unearthed & Untold: The Path to Pet Path to Pet Sematary‘ comes a brand-new documentary celebrating the legacy of Stephen King’s IT.
With the remake set for release in a couple of months, the filmmakers are ready to uncover the story of cinema’s most famous clown. Pennywise: The Story of IT smashed it’s Crowdfunding goal and is set to be the most in-depth retrospective on the character and his cultural influence over the last 28 years.
The film is supported by Tim Curry, Tommy Lee Wallace and Bart Mixon, and the filmmakers will be showcasing over 2 hours of never-before-seen set footage as well as loads of archival and behind-the-scenes photos.
Pre-production is already well underway, with a dedicated team of IT aficionados working in securing interviewees, production information, behind the scenes photos, effects, music and more.
