Horror Movies that would be Amazing as Video Games

by Cara

When you fall in love with the feel and story of a horror movie it can be hard to let it go at the end of the film. These are the ones that we’d most like to see in the video game world, as we’d love to play the stories. We’ve even included our thoughts on what the imaginary game would be like!

Hellraiser – One of those classic horror movies, Hellraiser would transfer amazingly well into a video game. We’d love to see the movie keep its sometimes cheesy effects, foregoing any stylish visuals. The aim of the game would be to seal the Cenobites back in the cube as they laid traps to attempt to take you to their realm.

Nightmare On Elm Street – Ok, so maybe we spend most of our dreams in new casinos recommended by this online gaming directory winning stacks of cash. Just imagine a game in which you were transported to the world of Freddy Krueger each time you fell asleep. It could be a mixture of The Sims during the day and a terrifying thriller at night.

Friday the 13th – Iconic slashers abound! This movie could set the scene for a great adventure, ducking through the woods away from Voorhees. Using the same theme from the movie, this could be a suspenseful and scary game. If you’re looking for the perfect drink to go along with this then check out our killer inspired cocktails.

Jaws – Although this isn’t strictly speaking a horror movie, it’s thrilling to say the very least. The tune from the opening could be used to enhance the scary aspects of the game. Multiplayer levels could include one shark chasing down the humans to take a bite out of crime.
