Scotland’s premier horror and Halloween attraction is returning to the Classic Grand for 2018. Popcorn Horror is bringing a packed two day festival to our home city. Several film programs including ground-breaking features, shock inducing shorts, and twisted animation fill the line up across the weekend. Joining the film line-up, we have a variety of attractions, shows, panels, performers, speakers, artists market, and much more in store.

NEW FOR 2018 – No Sequel:The House With Neon Windows
At 6PM, a group of sinister hosts will escort guests to STEREO’S Freddy style boiler room for a one-off interactive attraction. Combining silent film with an original live DJ soundtrack, the horror mystery room event will become a mad mix of haunted manor host, mad science and 80s nightmares. Solve riddles to win prizes, form alliances which enjoying horror soundtracking and stunning vintage visuals. Popcorn Horror will be working with Scare Scotland to present this unique horror attraction.
Big Puppet Theatre Co.
Coming to the festival are the fantastic Big Puppet Theatre Co. Those of you who were there last year should remember their incredible adaption; The Red Death. This time, it’s an throwback to the days of drive-in and BBC double-bills – two back to back performances of original, horrifying and shocking live theater.
Making Monsters with Taarna Swanson
Get behind the scenes and learn about creating the monsters of your nightmares at Glasgow Horror Fest. The amazing Taarna Swanson is leading a demonstration on creating horror gore, creatures and other effects for filmmaking and more!
Joseph Traynor’s Ghost Story
Joining the Glasgow Horror Fest 2018 line-up is an exciting original performance. Joseph Traynor of GOTHeatre Productions writes and produces musical horror theater. GOTHeatre will be joining us for a performance of GHOST STORY.
