Filmmaker Recreates Iconic TWIN PEAKS Scenes in Claymation

Artist and filmmaker Joeseph Brett has created a unique project to celebrate Twin Peaks Day 2020. Selecting some of the franchises most memorable scenes, Brett recreated these moments using stop motion and claymation animation.

Brett has shot and directed music videos for artists including Ezra Furman, Efterklang, Leisure Society and Allo Darlin, as well as an animation for Red Hot Chilli Peppers. He directed and shot the feature-length documentary Little Tibet in 2011.

The sculpted scenes included are the moment Agent Dale Cooper first entered the town of Twin Peaks, Laura Palmer’s head wrapped in plastic, the Red Room, Killer BOB and, last but not least, “Meanwhile”. Its very impressive how much of the creepy vibe is conveyed using this animation technique. Check out the animated scenes below, and find more by the artist at josephbrett.com
