A very Happy Birthday to director John Landis! Although he hasn’t worked exclusively in horror, Landis is an important figure to many in the horror community. Did you know that his first feature film ‘Schlock’, made when he was just 21, was a tribute to early monster movies? Since then, he’s directed the legendary ‘An American Werewolf in London’, Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller’ plus written a book on the history of movie monsters.

In honour of the directors 65th birthday, here’s a few tributes to his best loved horror film ‘An American Werewolf in London’
